Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/10/2017 -- ImageFIRST, which provides healthcare uniforms in the Washington, PA, area and throughout the country, is dedicated to participating in community giving events every quarter, demonstrating the core values of their company. This spring, the ImageFIRST NJ-NY location participated in two different community giving activities. One group of associates volunteered at Eva's Village in Paterson, New Jersey, while another group visited their local Ronald McDonald House.
Eva's Village is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless and disadvantaged individuals. Not only does the organization provide a safe shelter, but it also helps to treat those with addiction and provide medical and dental care to those who cannot afford it. Their non-denominational, faith-based organization values the dignity of each person who comes through their doors. The ImageFIRST associates that participated helped serve lunch to approximately 200 homeless people. The office also gave a monetary donation of $500 to support the organization's efforts.
On May 9, 2017, another ImageFIRST group visited the local Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald House Charities provide free or low-cost temporary housing for families with children who are undergoing treatment for serious illnesses. The associates spent the day at the Ronald McDonald House cleaning the playroom and all of the children's toys in it. Afterward, they played with some of the children who were staying there. Additionally, the office gave a $500 donation. "The associates came back really satisfied and happy," according to office manager Reyna.
