Associates from ImageFIRST spent time with the kids from the Club, helping them make cards and goodie bags, which were then delivered to elderly neighbors in their community. Annemarie Hin, one of the associates from ImageFIRST, stated, "This is full circle community giving right there."
The Boys and Girls Club has served the city of Philadelphia's youth since 1887. While much has changed about the organization over the years, one thing that has remained constant is that the Club facilitates the beginnings of "Great Futures." Their mission is to enable young people to reach their full potential.
After making cards and goodie bags, ImageFIRST's group of associates then helped the children build gingerbread houses. Things reportedly got a little bit messy according to one of the associates, but everyone involved said that they had a wonderful time. One of the young girls exclaimed, "This is the best day ever. I want to do this every day for 1,000 years."
This is the second time in 2017 that ImageFIRST was able to volunteer for the Boys and Girls Club of Philadelphia.
