The Andrew L. Hicks Foundation is one of those organizations. It was established by Andy and Karen Hicks of West Chester, PA, to honor the life and values of their 17-year-old firstborn child. Andrew died tragically in 2010 when he slipped and fell from a mountain slope while hiking with his family during a California vacation. The foundation provides various programs for young people in Chester, PA, that focus on fun, responsibility, service, integrity and leadership. Students from Henderson High School, Andrew's alma mater, and the West Chester community are involved in the effort, including mentoring students in Chester. The bond between KickCharge (then Graphic D-Signs) and the foundation was forged at the start when the small business marketing firm, which specializes in web design in NJ and beyond, designed the foundation's logo and created its website free of charge.

As the foundation's mission and scope expanded, its website needed to grow, too. So, earlier this year, the web design company from NJ redesigned and developed a bold new look for andrewlhicksjrfoundation.org with added features to enhance the user experience. The new website provides quick, easy access to information about programs and events and makes it easy to donate, volunteer or get involved with the Andrew L. Hicks Jr. Foundation in other ways.

One of the new features is a "Lives Changed" section on the home page where volunteers and participants share their personal stories about the powerful impact the foundation has had on them.

As part of the most recent effort, KickCharge also created logos for three foundation initiatives: Warrior Guides, Rise and Launch. KickCharge created the new logos to include meaningful symbolism. They establish unique identities for each program while, at the same time, connecting them to the Andrew L. Hicks Jr. brand.
