Reversed Phase Columns for UHPLC and HPLC
YMC-Triart is a family of stationary phases for UHPLC and HPLC based on a next-generation organic hybrid particle. The hybrid particle combines with proprietary YMC bonding chemistry to produce stationary phases with superior durability, excellent peak shape, and high reproducibility. Our brochure describes the family of phases and columns.
Six of the YMC-Triart phases are described in this brochure: C18, C18 ExRS (high carbon load), C8, Phenyl, PFP, and Diol-HILIC. The brochure includes pages of useful column comparisons and selection criteria.
Two other YMC-Triart phases are described elsewhere: C4 BIO (a wide-pore butyl phase for biomolecule separations) and SIL (bare hybrid-silica particle with no bonded phase chemistry – used for normal phase applications).
All YMC-Triart phases exhibit excellent peak shape, high reproducibility, and long column life. The combination of YMC's organic hybrid base particle plus proprietary YMC bonded phase chemistries produces materials with excellent stability at high and low pH, elevated temperature, and high pressure.
For prep users who may be re-packing their own columns using bulk material, YMC-Triart exhibits extreme mechanical durability and is able to tolerate the rigors of repeated column packing procedures.
The brochure shows test results on various difficult analytes, comparisons of separation selectivity among the different phases, column and stationary phase selection criteria, and other data of interest to the chromatographer.
