Bristol, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/17/2017 -- The Lesbians Who Tech Philadelphia Chapter is pleased to announce that their next happy hour will take place on March 2nd, 2017 from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Toasted Walnut, located at 1316 Walnut St., Philadelphia, 19107.
Lesbians Who Tech was founded in 2012 by Leanne Pittsford with the intention of creating a space of inclusivity, visibility and professional advancement for queer women. Since its foundation, Lesbians Who Tech has grown to an 11,000-strong membership with chapters located around the world. The Philly Chapter of Lesbians Who Tech is headed by City Director CJ Bachmann, who is also VP of digital marketing firm 1SEO.com Digital Agency. To learn more about Lesbians Who Tech's mission and national presence, visit the organization's website.
The March Meetup is a particularly special occasion as it will not only provide the same great community space for queer women in tech (and allies) that Lesbians Who Tech has always provided, but will also celebrate the Toasted Walnut's recent opening. The Toasted Walnut is a new Center City, Philadelphia bar that caters to the LGBTQ community. During the March Meetup, Lesbians Who Tech members and friends will be able to enjoy a sample of the Toasted Walnut's food menu and delicious adult beverages, as well as network and make friends with likeminded community members.
All are welcome at the March Meetup. Those interested in attending can secure a spot by signing up on Eventbrite. Attendance is free, but $15 happy hour donations are greatly appreciated. Learn more by visiting the event's Facebook page.
