Palmetto Bay, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/08/2015 -- Palmer Trinity School Eco Club participated in National Public Lands Day by removing exotic species and trash from Black Point Park and Marina. Some of the pollution at Black Point Marina has been there since Hurricane Andrew! Students removed Brazilian Pepper trees, an exotic species that inhabit the mangroves and prevent their growth.
