Pierre wants to share her story, convinced she can help others who find themselves in a similar situation, on the brink of desperation. She has put together a book, entitled Second Chance, which explains how she made a full recovery from a deep, intense clinical depression.
“This has been a spiritual journey 10 years in the making,” said Pierre. “I put my faith in God and he asked me to become a writer and share my life story. It will inspire you to become the best ‘you’ and to truly understand tomorrow is not always when your dreams will begin. The time is today.”
People who are struggling with their lives will find this book to be an inspiring account of how they can make a change for the better. “When I was really sick, my daughters stood by me and taught me the value of life,” Pierre recalled.
“I looked at my children and that gave me the courage to persevere. I feel like I’ve had a second chance in life and I want to let people know they can, too.”
In addition to telling Pierre’s personal story, the book discusses why depression is a silent killer, the true meaning of faith, how self-love can heal your mind and body, and how “mind silence” can help you hear God’s messages.
Pierre has completed a draft of the book but needs the services of a professional editor to polish the writing. She also needs funds for publishing and marketing this work. Her estimate of the total cost is $10,000.
