Guangzhou, Guangdong -- (SBWire) -- 07/20/2011 --Israel Chemical limited and China will sign a potash fertilizer agreement on potash fertilizer supply in late 2011. The transaction price is USD470/t, and its amount is 500,000 tonnes. ICL will supply to 6 fertilizer producers in China.

From 2011, global potash players like Potash Corp of Saskatchewan and BPC, shift their focus to Southeast Asia and Brazil and decrease their export volume to China. Therefore, China wants to import more potash fertilizer from Israel.
