The glamorous black-tie event was held at Philadelphia's Crystal Tea Room and featured every bit of excitement and revelry befitting an anniversary soiree. The City of Philadelphia and representatives from the office of Mayor Jim Kenney presented Hair O' The Dog founders, Daniel Cronin and Robert Molinaro, and Director of Marketing, Buffy Harakidas, with a special citation to mark their continued success as prominent philanthropists.

Every year, Chorus Communications gives back to the community by donating a portion of its Hair O' The Dog proceeds to a different charity. This year's celebration benefited Morris Animal Refuge, America's first animal shelter and an open-admission shelter that prides itself in never turning animals away. As if that wasn't enough to make Hair O' The Dog 2019 special, the telecommunications industry elites in attendance packed the dance floor for performances by T-Pain and Party Favor.

What started as a relatively small fundraiser for local nonprofit organizations with just 100 attendees in its inaugural year is now known as "Philly's Best Event," according to the Philadelphia Nightlife Awards.
