Unemployment Rate Declining, Hound Finds Nearly 1 Million Jobs Across the Nation

Pasadena, CA -- (SBWire) -- 12/08/2011 --In November, the unemployment rate of U.S. dropped to 8.6 percent. According to the Labor of Bureau Statistics, it is at its lowest since March 2009, when it was 9 percent.

This doesn't seem to be good news in comparison to the harsh situations face during the 2007 recession. Analysts warn that the gains are only a starting point to recover from the 2007 recession that ruined the economy. Nearly 120,000 new non-farm jobs were added this November, 140,000 jobs were gained in the private sector, while 20,000 public sector jobs were lost, according to the Bureau's payroll survey. The unemployment rate for white Americans declined, while most other groups held steady.

The report also listed an increase in the job opportunities in retail by 50,000 jobs and health care by 9,000 jobs. There are some job categories that report decreases in job opportunities like state and local government has lost about 600,000 jobs since 2008.
