A Reminder from Bill Heeney to Fill out Absentee Ballots
Philadelphia, PA -- (SBWire) -- 10/22/2019 --For most Philadelphians, the date to cast their ballots in the race for Philadelphia City Council will be Tuesday, November 5th. While there will be many citizens who will be able to go out and vote, there are many more who, for whatever reason, will be unable to make it out. Some might be out of the city - or even out of state - on Election Day, while others might be working long hours or have a health issue that prevents them from leaving the house, with a trip to their designated polling center out of the question.
Republican City Council At-Large candidate Bill Heeney understands that Philadelphia is a hard-working city. The men and women who live in this city have busy schedules with going to their jobs, sometimes multiple in one day, and providing for their families. For those who can't realistically make it out on Election Day, Heeney encourages them to fill out an absentee ballot by the October 29th deadline.
Those who choose to vote absentee should have a paper ballot mailed to them, and return their filled-out ballot by mail or in person to the County Board of Elections, located at City Hall in Room 142. Aside from benefiting hard-working Philadelphians who need every hour to support themselves, absentee ballots also help college students, military personnel, and citizens who have a disability or illness preventing them from making it to the polls.
For those who will be voting early via absentee ballot, Bill Heeney encourages them to check off his name as their vote for Philadelphia City Council. Heeney strives to bring Better Days Ahead to the city by bringing back business, continuing to take a stand against rising crime rates, and fighting unpopular policies such as the Philadelphia Soda Tax. The deadline for absentee voting is Tuesday, October 29th, so Philadelphians should make an effort to get their votes in by that date, and make sure Bill Heeney is on their ballot.
Bill Heeney's campaign is built on the small donations of the hard-working men and women of Philadelphia, as opposed to the special interest groups that buy so many other candidates' campaigns. Join the fight for Better Days Ahead in Philadelphia by pledging support for Bill Heeney's campaign.
