Orlando-based fine restaurant Christini's will open for first time on holiday

Orlando, FL -- (SBWire) -- 12/09/2013 --A world renowned Italian restaurant in Orlando will remain open for the first time on Christmas Day. Christini's, 7600 Dr Phillips Blvd., will serve dinner on Christmas from 5 to 11 p.m.

Christini's is known internationally for its award-winning Italian cuisine and extensive list of wines from around the world. The Christini's menu features an array of expertly-prepared, classic northern Italian appetizers, soups, salads, pastas, seafood dishes, entrees and desserts made from the highest quality ingredients.

The fine dining restaurant in Orlando is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Ivy Award, Best of the Best Five Star Diamond Award, the Epicurean Award for the Outstanding Cuisine and Service, AAA Four Diamond Award and several others. Christini's also received an award of excellence from Wine Spectator magazine for having one of the best wine lists in the world. December 25 of this year will mark the first Christmas the Orlando Italian restaurant is opening its doors to the public.

Restaurateur Chris Christini was born in Sparta, Greece to Italian and Greek parents. He took a job in a bakery that led to him opening restaurants across the world in cities such as New York and Montreal. In 1982, he came to Florida to open L’Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante at Epcot’s Italy Pavilion. Two years later, he left the restaurant and decided to take a gamble by opening his own fine dining restaurant in Orlando: Christini’s Ristorante Italiano.

Over two decades later, Christini still oversees every aspect of the operation. His experience and extraordinary attention to detail have earned him significant recognition in the restaurant business and have made Christini’s Ristorante Italiano the most awarded restaurant in Central Florida, drawing celebrities and dignitaries from all over the world.
