Unique Website to Hold Pictures of People, 2222faces.com, Launches Fundraiser on Indiegogo
Los Angeles, CA -- (SBWire) -- 01/31/2014 --Elliot Facer, founder of the website 2222faces.com, has just launched a fundraiser on Indiegogo that he hopes will help to preserve the photo history of 2,222 individuals in a very special way. Facer, who designed the unique website to hold pictures of people, hopes to help individuals from around the world to become a special part of the Internet’s history for over 200 years. Facer intends to keep the photos of the 2,222 people visible online until the year 2222.
“As it has been agreed, my Indiegogo campaign is definitely one of the most unique projects ever, and it is in a niche all its own” noted Facer.
“I bet that it is possible to get a whole million dollars using the crowdfunding idea in just one month.”
In order to fund his idea for his website, Facer researched how to raise money. He decided to launch his campaign on Indiegogo because of its widespread appeal and ability to reach a lot of people at once.
“I'm asking people around the world to help me win this bet and in exchange I'm offering a unique chance to make their photo, logo or sign visible on a very unique webpage, which will be online until year 2222—that is, for the next 208 years.”
As Facer explained, the website and its domain will be hosted for the next 208 years, and all of the costs will be paid at once. So even though the people who are featured on the 2222faces.com site will have passed away by the time the year 2222 rolls along, their photos will remain on the site for everyone to see.
The website will feature a front page, Facer said, that contains 1,111 premium boxes that are reserved for anyone who contributes $1,000 to the project. The site’s back page, also with 1,111 boxes, is available to those who donate $200. Right now, 10 percent of the photos on each page are available at half price.
Anybody who would like to learn more about Facer’s unique fundraiser is welcome to visit his Indiegogo page; there, they can read about 2222faces.com and learn how they will be rewarded for their contributions.
