Barbara Toll Seeks Kickstarter Funding for Her Photography Project 'Hammerhead'
Barbara Toll is going to photograph hammerhead sharks in Marathon, FL as part of an underwater photography book about eastern US sea life & diving.
Matawan, NJ -- (SBWire) -- 03/12/2014 --This hammerhead project is part of a larger project to photograph the sea life and SCUBA dive sites along the east coast of the US. Barbara Toll is working on diving and photographing some of the most popular dive sites from Boston to the Florida Keys. Barbara particularly likes to photograph large marine life, such as sharks and barracuda. She would like to turn these photographs into a book of photographs about the beauty of this part of the ocean. Barbara plans to revisit each of the dive sites from this book in the future to see how the images at these sites have changed over time.
The images that captured during this hammerhead project will be of sharks. Barbara will spend multiple days diving and photographing with a company that has a high success rate for attracting these sharks. She will also try to spend some time photographing on nearby reefs because this is the last set of photos she will take for the book from the southern most part of the U.S. Barbara has a few more sites that she plans to photograph this year. The book is planned to be published in December.
The money raised from Kickstarter campaign will be used to drive to the location, charter the boat, and cover related expenses. It will also, of course, be used to print and ship the images to supporters.
This project will only be funded if at least$2,200 is pledged by Sat, Mar 29 2014 8:38 AM +05:30.
