Bogota, Columbia -- (SBWire) -- 03/17/2014 --Estatuas is a short film about hope, love and nostalgia between Sara and Antonio, two human statues. Antonio, the main character of the film, is a human statue that one day decided not to be part of the world and became part of the landscape. On the other hand, Sara is a woman full of light, but full of suffering at the same time. Chance brought their lives together, to save them.

The team behind Estatuas comes from the short film screenplay contest HangarSupport created by Hangar Films (www.hangarfilms.tv) production company and rental house of film equipment. 138 projects were submitted by young Colombian writers, which were evaluated by an external jury, choosing Estatuas as the winner.

The objective of this campaign is to make HangarSupport sustainable in time and to ensure that it can continue  supporting young Colombian writers and directors. The team already has a very important part of their budget, represented in all camera, lighting and post production equipment, which represents approximately 30% of our budget. 

All funds received from Indiegogo will be spent as follows:

Camera, lighting and post production equipment

Crew, sound, catering, locations , props, makeup and wardrobe ,transport, insurance.

Film Festival submissions, promotion and distribution.
