Greenwood Village, CO -- (SBWire) -- 06/25/2014 --Scytec Consulting Inc., will be releasing an update to its revolutionary On-Premise and Cloud based DataXchange data collection system towards the end of June. The update will be the third of 2014 continuing with the process of providing updates to their customers every two to three months. Some of the new features will be on display in the Shop Floor Automations Booth at the Big M Tradeshow in Detroit Michigan at the Cobo Center, on June 10th – 12th, 2014 in booth 317.
The DataXchange system is a modern machine monitoring and data collection system with mobile device access and visual manufacturing dashboards that utilizes, MTConnect Fanuc Focas, tablets, and hardware based modules as a few of the data collection methods.
“Saved chart templates allows users to not only define a chart with all of the filters and options they want, commonly used templates can be added to the ribbon bar as shortcuts for one click access.” commented Josh Davids, President and CEO of Scytec. He continues, “Connection monitoring allows for email or visual notification if a data collection connection to the machine is lost ensuring accurate analysis of the data and the machines. DataXchange is very unique in the fact that multiple definitions of cycle time can be collected concurrently allowing data to be analyzed in a variety of ways. Additional functionality has been added with the cycle time definitions adding even greater flexibility, and providing even greater value to the end users.”
Starting at only $45 a month per machine the value of DataXchange is truly unmatched. “Many customers report a 10% to a 20% increase in utilization after implementing DataXchange”, says Davids. We have many reference customers who really go out of their way to offer insight into how they have implemented and the gains they have made by using the product. Most of the new functionality is due to direct feedback from our customers.”
All of the Cloud based customers will receive the updates automatically and the application will apply the updates automatically as well. Scytec is currently planning their next update in August or early September shortly before IMTS in Chicago. Additional information will be released soon relating to the features and functionality in the next planned update.
