This was the challenge that accomplished Italian designer Andrea Palama tackled head on when he founded Slide Identity. Slide Identity is a new force in the market, combining expertise in design and manufacturing, with a smart lifestyle concept to define the next generation of wearables.

A designer for brands such as PUMA, SPEEDO, ANNE KLEIN, and CHAMPION, Palama created his first timepiece in 1991 in Italy. The now famous cork watch he designed sold over 1.2 million pieces throughout Europe, America and Asia. In 2006, Palama moved the company from Italy to Hong Kong in order to personally oversee the manufacture of his designs. With strict quality procedures in place, the team purchased the highest quality silicone and tints to begin production of the first Slide Identity product, which was simply called the NAMENAME Bracelet.

After crowdsourcing feedback on their new collection on social networks, the Company has now launched a Kickstarter campaign to launch the inaugural Slide Identity Collection and expand their distribution chain.

The collection includes it’s masterpiece; the Chrono42, and the sleek Slim42 and the Slim38, which at 8.5mm are amongst the slimmest in the market today. As with all of Palama's designs, all models offer sleek Italian design, high quality materials, at affordable prices.
