Inventhelp Invention Service Company Celebrates 30 Years of Business
Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWire) -- 10/06/2014 --InventHelp® and Pittsburgh’s resident Caveman … a.k.a. CAVEY, the brand mascot for InventHelp, are celebrating the company’s 30th anniversary on September 30 at the City of Pittsburgh Council meeting. City Councilman, Dan Gilman, is introducing a proclamation recognizing CAVEY DAY.
“Historically, Pittsburgh has been a place of innovation,” said InventHelp President, Robert Susa. “Some of America’s greatest inventors were either born in this city or came here from other states or countries to fulfill their dream of making the world a better place. We’re proud to call Pittsburgh our home.”
Headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, InventHelp is a leading inventor service company, employing some 150 people, with regional sales offices in more than 60 cities in the United States, Canada, South Africa, Korea and Australia.
In addition, InventHelp produces INPEX®, the largest inventor trade show in the U.S., here in Pittsburgh every year and will celebrate 30 years in June 2015.
As an added bonus, InventHelp is hosting a month-long celebration of invention on the company’s Facebook page with fun contests, great prizes and giveaways. So make sure you visit during the month of October - #InventHelp30th. Also be sure to check out the InventHelp Twitter and YouTube channel for updates and videos on the event.
WHO IS CAVEY
InventHelp’s logo depicts a caveman chiseling a stone wheel. He’s almost finished, but what does he do next? Any aspiring inventor can relate easily to that simple and whimsical image. It can take years to realize an invention with various successes and failures along the way. Think of Thomas Edison’s quip that his light bulb took 1,000 steps to perfect versus 999 failures.
CAVEY is one of the first in a long line of serious innovators who have brought civilization anything and everything from Pittsburgh’s Heinz ketchup and Westinghouse’s continuous-filament incandescent light bulb, thanks to a mathematician named Nikola Tesla.
About INVENTHELP THE COMPANY

Many of the InventHelp employees, in the Cultural District headquarters, have worked for the company for some time, including Janet Price, Elaine Angert and Joanne Burke, whose combined years of service add up to 115 years. InventHelp’s sister companies include Intromark Incorporated, the licensing division of InventHelp, and INPEX the trade show mentioned above.
InventHelp takes their community commitments seriously and asks employees to join outreach efforts including the collection of non-perishable food items to help stock the Salvation Army's food pantry, teaming with the U.S. Marine Corps by donating to Toys for Tots and hosting blood drives in conjunction with the Central Blood Bank.
In 2013, The InventHelp staff, along with Cavey the Caveman, volunteered at the 25th Anniversary Light Up A Child's Life campaign for Make-A-Wish Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia held at Robinson Mall in Robinson Township. President Robert Susa, along with his family, presented Make-A-Wish with a $3,900 Wishmaker donation from the company and staff. InventHelp employees also volunteered to collect shopper's donations for the Make-A-Wish Wishing Well during the Holiday season.
In the past, the trade show division, INPEX®, has hosted "Kids Day" at the Invention Show for children to display their innovative ideas. And INPEX 2005 opened its arms to Broderick Alexander, a 16-year-old aspiring inventor who is part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® program.
