Palmetto Bay, FL -- (SBWire) -- 10/31/2014 --Palmer Trinity School (PTS) and the Palmer Trinity Parents Association's (PTPA) Parent Education Committee is sponsoring a Q&A session with Dr. Sameer Hinduja at its upcoming Parent-to-Parent Evening Coffee event on the subject "Cyberbullying and Safe Social Networking" on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. in the School's main dining room.
Dr. Hinduja is a professor at Florida Atlantic University's School of Criminology and Criminal Justice and Co-Director of the Cyberbullying Research Center. Internationally recognized for his groundbreaking work on cyberbullying and safe social networking, Dr. Hinduja provides training to schools, youth organizations, parents and teens on how to avoid online victimization and its real-world consequences. He has authored and co-authored several books on the subject, including the second edition of the award-winning "Bullying Beyond the Schoolyard: Preventing and Responding to Cyberbullying", and "Words Wound: Delete Cyberbullying and Make Kindness Go Viral", the first comprehensive book on cyberbullying specifically written for teens.
