One of their tips for spreading holiday cheer is decorating using candy-cane reds and warm textures. Bill Beazley Homes demonstrates how they accomplished this using a simple candy-cane red throw blanket and seasonal pillow. "The pop of red and warm texture of the blanket and pillow really give the room a holiday feel without going too overboard," said Bill Beazley Homes.

You can also decorate for the season using evergreen trees. Green is a color traditionally associated with Christmas and can be seen on holly branches, mistletoe, and wreaths. Bill Beazley Homes utilized the color green in their design center by displaying a miniature replica of an evergreen tree layered with snow.

Wreaths, reindeer, and sleighs are also great ideas to consider for the holidays. "The wreath on the door during the holidays is a common decoration for homeowners," says Bill Beazley Homes. "However, many don't know that making a wreath from scratch is actually very simple." With a few embellishments from their nearest craft store a homeowner has all they need to make the wreath of their choice. Bill Beazley Homes chose a wreath adorned with gold leaves.

Reindeers and sleighs are very recognizable holiday decor items as well and they don't cost much money. Outside Bill Beazley Homes' design center they displayed a white reindeer and sleigh and on the interior they displayed a miniature ceramic version. These cute little decorations are not only festive; they serve as reminders of what the season is really about.
