Johnny Condom Education Resource Launches New Comical Video in Support of National Condom Week USA
National condom week, 14th – 21st February 2015 is one of the most important health awareness campaigns in America. The campaign is to help make people aware of how important wearing a condom is.
Los Angeles, CA -- (SBWire) -- 02/04/2015 --In February, millions of couples celebrate Valentines Day. However, there is another important date and dates men and women should be putting down on their calendar in February. National Condom Week for 2015 will be held on 14th -21st February, helping to make people aware of the many reasons why a man should wear a condom. To help celebrate National Condom Week and make more people aware of why wearing a condom is a good idea, Johnny Condom Education Resource has launched a comical video featuring spitting image puppets.
'Although the USA is the greatest national funder of the global HIV epidemic, it still faces a major ongoing HIV epidemic itself, with around 50,000 new infections each year. Stigma and discrimination continue to hamper people's access to HIV prevention, testing and treatment services fuelling the cycle of new infections'

National Condom Week was originally started on the campus of the University of California - Berkeley. It has since grown into a worldwide educational event for high schools, colleges and sexually transmitted disease awareness groups. It is now more important than ever to educate young people about the dangers of HIV or risk returning to the ignorance of the 80s.
National Condom Week continues to emphasize the importance of using humor to help educate young people as opposed to what can be the more sombre 1st December World Aids Day.
With this in mind a new teaching resource has been made available to schools that want to take their sexual health responsibilities seriously.

One of the most successful characters inspired by this campaign is Spitting Image's Johnny Condom who has been used internationally in campaigns across Europe and England but until now had never been heard in the USA.........this year all that changes!
FREE school Resource https://www.johnnycondom.com
To celebrate this year's National Condom Week, the Johnny Condom Education Resource is being made available FREE to schools. Containing lesson plans, videos and interviews with health professionals, The Johnny Condom Education Resource has everything a school needs to support them with the education of young people about the dangers of HIV and Aids.
So whilst humor is still used to help provide education during National Condom Week and has become a tool to help educate young adults about the serious risks involved with unprotected sex, we must keep in mind the seriousness of this message.
With people's help, the Johnny Condom Education Resource can deliver a positive health message that can help young people and saves lives. We hope you will become involved in spreading the word.
