Mobile Marketing via Tagging - A Joint Learning Session from the Manatee Chamber of Commerce and Lakewood Ranch, Tuesday October 12 in the Manatee Chamber's Lakewood Ranch Office at the McClure Center.
Bradenton, FL -- (SBWire) -- 10/20/2010 -- The Manatee Chamber of Commerce and Lakewood Ranch will host a joint educational event for area businesses on "Mobile Marketing via Tagging." The event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Manatee Chamber's Lakewood Ranch Office at the McClure Center – 4215 Concept Court in Lakewood Ranch.
"The Manatee Chamber has long been interested in ensuring that our local businesses have the knowledge and skills necessary to compete in today's high-tech world," stated Manatee Chamber President Bob Bartz. "Tagging is becoming an increasingly popular marketing vehicle and we want to ensure Manatee County businesses are aware of the benefits that can be derived from this program and know how to implement it into their marketing plan."
Candice McElyea of Lakewood Ranch and Troy Newport of Webtivity Designs (http://www.WebtivityDesigns.com) will present on the following topics: the types of tags that are available and their benefits; use of content that is of interest to individuals; the big mistakes to avoid when implementing tagging; and how tagging will benefit area organizations.
