Corpus Christi, TX -- (SBWire) -- 06/26/2015 --Wholesome entertainment and home improvement website Home and Recreation to detail "Tropical Summer Festival," a water activities filled family event sponsored by Scott Tucker and Greene Park. The three day festival will begin on July 15th.
"Cooling off in the summer time is always such an alluring prospect for parents and children," says Home and Recreation writer Edward Fullerton. "The fun family stay-cation isn't dead, this kind of festival is what keeps the idea that you don't need to leave town alive. The festival schedule will be published on our site as soon as Tucker and the folks at Greene Park finalize the details."
The three day long festival will begin with a water balloon throwing contest for adults and a slip-n-slide activity for children. There will be 10 water events each day of the festival for free public participation.
"There is no limit to the fun you can have in some nice cold water on a hot summer day," says Tucker. "I came to the nice folks who run the parks department of the city and they thought it was a real great idea, especially since I was willing to be a sponsor.
