American Holistic Nurses Association Recognizes Anabela Santos for 2015 Charlotte McGuire Undergraduate Scholarship Award

Topeka, KS -- (SBWire) -- 06/30/2015 --Anabela Santos, RN, ASN, was presented the 2015 Charlotte McGuire Scholarship Award at the AHNA 35th annual conference in Branson, Missouri June 12-17, 2015. The Charlotte McGuire Scholarship Program was named in honor of AHNA Founder, Charlotte McGuire and is intended to recognize and celebrate upstanding members of the new generation of holistic nurses dedicated to practicing holistic nursing at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

About Anabela
Anabela Santos, RN, ASN, is a student at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York, New York. She is an ambitious student, and a published author of two papers, one about guided imagery, published in the 2015 Nursing Journal and another about chronic heart disease published in the 2015 February issue of the Beginnings Magazine. She intends to pursue her Master's degree in Holistic Nursing with a Nurse Practitioner Certificate so she can open her own wellness practice and become a holistic nurse educator.
