According to the research, high caffeine consumption lowers the levels of an inflammatory marker called serum amyloid. Another study made in California also shows that coffee increases the blood levels of SHBG or sex hormone-binding globulin that regulates the testosterone and estrogen activity. Among the women that drank four or more cups of coffee a day has significantly lowered their risk for diabetes in contrast to women who never drink coffee at all.
With these newly released studies about the risk of drinking coffee, every day proves that coffee indeed have protective qualities that help protect those who have a habit of drinking coffee from developing diabetes.
