Cranston, RI -- (SBWire) -- 11/30/2010 -- Electro Standards Laboratories announces the Model 7426 RJ45 CAT5 A/B/C/D Switch with Telnet and GUI Remote Control. This switch allows sharing a single port interface device connected to the COMMON port among four other devices connected to the A, B, C, and D ports with remote access functionality.

The switch may be controlled via front panel pushbutton or remotely from the RJ45 control port. Remote control access is via an Ethernet 10/100BASE-T connection and either Telnet commands or Graphical User Interface. The remote control Telnet command interface or Graphical User Interface allows the user to control the switch position, lockout the front panel operations and obtain the switch status. The front panel LED display indicates switch position. The Model 7426 switch maintains position on power loss and continues to pass data.

Model 7426 Software Features allow access via any standard Web browser. The software features are easy to use with simple point and click operation. Users can change the switch's IP address. LAN access gives users across the LAN or over the Internet access to control the switch.
