EarlyRise was founded Orly Lari (vocals/drums/piano/songwriter) and Raz Klinghoffer (guitars/producer/songwriter). Orly originally played and performed music as a drummer, but switched to vocals at the encouragement of well-respected producer Raz Klinghoffer. The two discovered they had an unusual chemistry with songwriting and performance and quickly formed a band with the name EarlyRise derived from a combination of their names "Early" (Orly) and "Rise" (Raz).
