Previously operating in a commercial kitchen in McHenry, the move enables Meals Like Mom to expand services to include private banquets and special events hosted in their private dining room.

Owner Chef Debi Stuckwisch offers personal chef services in her client's homes ranging from weekly meal service and special diets to cooking classes and catering.  Growing in popularity are requests for private parties and events, which is what prompted the move to a location that can accommodate groups up to 50 people.

"As our client base and reputation has grown, we have had more requests to host private parties and larger groups at a location outside the home. Our partnership with Stucky's Bar and Grille gives us both the space needed for groups and convenient access to the professional cooking equipment necessary to provide excellent food service," Chef Debi stated.

Chef Debi's passion for cooking started in her childhood learning from her mother and grandmother.  After spending a number of years in the corporate sector as a business manager, Chef Debi chose to follow her heart and her love of cooking by combining her passion and her career. She earned a culinary degree and became a certified personal chef.
