Goody Tickets Gives Back to Hope House of Kansas City

Goody Tickets continues to support Missouri's domestic violence shelter, Hope House. The shelter has been able to keep its doors open and provide service thanks to donations from Goody Tickets and others.

Overland Park, KS -- (SBWire) -- 04/18/2016 --Goody Tickets has continued their support of the Hope House, Missouri's largest domestic violence shelter. The 2015 contributions from Goody Tickets helped make it possible for Hope House to provide shelter to clients, answer hotline calls, and provide support to clients in the municipal court system. In 2015 Hope House provided shelter to more than 1,100 survivors of domestic violence and answered more than 6,000 calls to their hotline.

Since 1983, Hope House has grown to provide several services as a domestic violence shelter. The services and programs presently offered by Hope House include: outreach therapy, court and legal program, safe visitation center, hospital-based advocacy, and on call women's advocates who work with area police. In addition to services for clients of Hope House, the shelter offers professional trainings on domestic violence for medical students, newly recruited police officers, corporations, hospital personnel and social workers

Goody Tickets supported Hope House at the last Hope House Margarita Ball. The next Hope House event is the upcoming Margarita Ball fundraiser which will be held April 29, 2016 from 7pm-11pm. Tiffany Goddard-Snyder, Dr. Lance Snyder will co-chair the event with Rachel Sexton and Brian King. The event will feature entertainment by the Patrick Lentz Band while fundraisers enjoy refreshments and tapas.
