Philadelphia Entertainment Agency, Mole Street Artists, Books New Orleans Style Funk Band for Their Free Music Festival on June 25th
Philadelphia, PA -- (SBWire) -- 06/21/2016 --Entertainment booking company, Mole Street Artists, expands its reach for the agency's annual block party + music festival on Saturday 6/25. Led by Senior Talent Buyer, Sean Timmons, Mole Street Artists has secured New Orleans style funk band, the Pimps of Joytime as the headliner for their free annual block party + music festival, named Molestice in honor of the summer solstice.
From New Orleans funk to 90s club house, 60s salsa and hiphop, the headlining band's sound mirrors the diversity of Philadelphia's musical tastes. As does the complete musical performance lineup which kicks off Saturday at 12 noon with bizarro-party-funk band Muscle Tough, followed by Philadelphia pop-rock performer Brian LaPann, official Red Bull Sound Select artist Weekender, and Philadelphia hip-hop artist Chill Moody.
While Mole Street Artists is busy throughout the year booking entertainment for Philadelphia weddings, non-profit and corporate events, and wine festivals, Molestice offers the entertainment booking company an opportunity to shine with a full-fledged music festival to showcase Philadelphia artists.
"Molestice has really become a passion project for us. It's a tradition that's been around for over 35 years on the 100 block of N. Mole Street and it's important to us to keep it going and watch it grow," says Brendan Walsh, principal of Mole Street Artists.
The agency looks forward to one day growing Molestice into what Jazz Fest is to New Orleans—a city-wide celebration of music, art and culture.
