SouthGate Centre Car Park Full to Capacity Due to Shopping Frenzy
Bristol, England -- (SBWire) -- 12/25/2010 -- During the busiest shopping period of the year, heavy snowfall and ice cold weather hit Christmas shopping throughout Europe with a sharp drop in the number of shoppers. Not so at SouthGate, Bath which wasn't affected by delayed deliveries, stranded shoppers or staff. The opposite was the case with the shopping centre car park having to temporarily close its doors due capacity issues.
With over 860 vehicles parked at any time, the underground car park was required to briefly shut on several occasions in recent weeks due to reaching capacity but CreditCall's efficient and reliable payment system on the Alfia pay stations ensured that there were no delays with customers leaving as soon as they finished their shopping.
SouthGate, Bath has very quickly become a popular shopping destination with the car park growing in popularity and success since opening in November 2009.
Simon Pullen, SouthGate, Bath General Manager said "We are excited by the popularity of our shopping centre and the ability to cope with the masses of people making it to Bath. We are thrilled CreditCall ensured the large numbers of car park payment transactions were quick, reliable and secure when most needed. This ensured a smooth and quick turnaround of cars entering and leaving the car park, which all contributed to the enjoyable shopping experience of our customers. Based on this great experience, we will definitely continue working with CreditCall in the future."
