Milford, CT -- (SBWire) -- 01/18/2011 -- GotChef is proud to announce the opening at its new location on January 4, 2011. Conveniently located for those commuting home to Milford from NYC or southern CT, GotChef’s unique offerings are unlike any other typical mobile fare. #1 Zagat-rated Italian chef, Biagio Barone, has created a menu which includes all-natural, grass-fed, wild-caught, hormone-free, cage-free, antibiotic-free, and organic ingredients. Dinner will be served Mon-Fri from 4-8pm with menu specials updated weekly. Favorites that have been selling out daily include Polpette di Carne (Grass-fed ground beef with sprouted breadcrumbs, basil and organic herbs, simmered for 3 hours in an organic San Marzano basil-tomato sauce, served with creamy polenta), and Arrosto di Maiale Saltimbocca (Pork chop pounded and stuffed with Fontina cheese, Prosciutto di Parma and sage, finished in a dry vermouth demi-glaze sauce, served over creamy, warm polenta). All entrees are reasonably priced between $8.00 -$14.00, and yes, credit cards are accepted.

Experienced chef and Connecticut native, Biagio Barone has been cooking Italian food since early childhood, and after studying in Southern Italy, returned to open his own restaurant. Biagio’s Osteria has been rated #1 Italian Restaurant in CT by both Zagat and OpenTable. “I am very proud to announce the opening of the first GotChef truck at its new train stop location,” said Biagio Barone, President, GotChef, Inc. “I had the idea to make the high-quality food I serve at my restaurant available to busy people who are looking to grab something quickly. I’m taking the Italian farm-style approach, inspired by the food I ate when I was a kid, and am brining that to the truck with an elegant touch. Not only is the food superior, but everyone on the truck is sure to be loving and putting love into the food…I want this to change people’s lives for the better, and if we can put a nice smile on someone’s face and lift their spirits after a long day of work, then we have done our duty!“ As an added convenience, customers can call ahead so their order is ready when their train pulls in.

After being open only a week, GotChef has already received much praise and repeat customers. Milford resident, Kathy Chalker Yacovelli, commented: “I had the best dinner from the Chef today. Coming from an Italian family you know it takes a lot to say that.

We ALWAYS compare. You are the best. Buona Fortuna!” In addition, you won’t find freezers or microwaves on the truck, guaranteeing patrons are getting a fresh, wholesome and delicious meal. This has proven to be a great option for busy moms who want quality for their families. Dawn Amato Astram shared: “Off the train tonight, picked up Polpette di Carne, Pork Chop Saltimbocca and a delicious Caprese salad. My family loved it. Can't wait to have the Cannoli! Delish! So nice to have the night off from cooking!”

Beyond the train stop, GotChef also offers Mobile Vending, Party, Home and Office catering. Location map, menus updated daily, catering and franchising information is available at GotChef’s website: www.GotChef.com
