A week before the toy drive took place, the school's principal attended the company's weekly huddle to help prepare the associates for the drive, and explained that most of the children who attend Grant Elementary come from low-income families.

The drive kicked off with associates heading to a local store in the morning to purchase toys. Over 30 associates attended the drive with their family members. ImageFIRST raised a total of $11,000 for the toy drive, half of which was raised by the associates and the other half was matched by ImageFIRST.

The principal of Grant Elementary School stated that he was grateful that the school was chosen by ImageFIRST Los Angeles as their charity of choice for the 2016 holiday season. He explained that he was especially thankful because many of the school's families have to make the tough decision between either putting food on the table or purchasing gifts for their children during the holidays.
