ACT I Awarded $16M AFSPC/SMC Contract to Provide Logistics Support for Ground Multiband Terminals
Arlington, VA -- (SBWire) -- 01/25/2017 --Advanced Concepts and Technologies International, L.L.C. (ACT I), an industry-leading provider of Total Acquisition Management solutions, was awarded a Task Order under its GSA OASIS Small Business Pool 1 contract to provide the Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) with Contractor Logistics Support and Supply for its AN/TSC-168 TDC Quad-Band satellite communications (SATCOM) Terminal over the next five years.

This contract builds upon the company's existing relationships with the SMC to include cyber security, acquisition management, and logistics support. SMC will also receive technical and operational assistance for its personnel as well as comprehensive warehouse operations support as part of this contract.
The AFSPC's Ground Multiband Terminal (GMT) program was established in 2005 to provide digital information connectivity between war fighting elements and national command authorities. The GMT provides satellite communications capabilities for current and future Air Force and joint-service Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) networks. The GMT is an interoperable, deployable, dual hub SATCOM terminal capable of operating on four Super High Frequency (SHF) bands on both military and commercial satellites.
