Norristown, PA -- (SBWire) -- 04/10/2017 --This year, Elmwood Park Zoo has decided to take a new approach to their employee search for Treetop Adventures, which is their popular zip line and ropes park. This Norristown zoo will be hosting two "try-out" events, and those who are interested will be granted free admission to a small part of the course as well as an opportunity to submit a job application. The zoo is hoping to attract outdoor enthusiasts and thrill seekers who'd like to turn their passion into employment.

The Treetop Adventure try-outs will take place on Thursday, April 6 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. The second round will be held on Saturday, April 15 from 5 p.m. until sundown. Job applicants must be dressed in close-toed shoes and active clothing to participate in the course. Depending on availability, on-site interviews may be conducted after the completion of the course.

Elmwood Park Zoo has several openings "Adventure Guides" for their Treetop Adventures. These guides will interact with customers both on and off the course. They must be able to maneuver through and physically work in the trees throughout the work day, while also providing excellent customer service and having the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Along with Treetop Adventures, Elmwood Park Zoo is also a leading spot for unique party venues in Philadelphia, PA, and the surrounding areas.
