World's first floating wind farm powers households in Scotland
Scotland is home to the world's first floating wind farm. After its successful installation, the wind farm started generating electricity in October 2017. The farm, designed with a capacity of 30 MW, is anticipated to supply power to 20,000 households in the country. It is located 25 kilometers away from the coast of Peterhead in Aberdeenshire.
