CIMON Inc., Showcases New Technology at Thailand's 2017 BITEC
Las Vegas, NV -- (SBWire) -- 11/27/2017 --CIMON Inc., a global supplier of industrial automation products and reliable process control systems, released their latest Industrial software updates at the Assembly and Automation Technology 2017 exhibition in Thailand.
The exhibition, held in Thailand's BITEC (Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre) attracted some 330 companies from 27 countries around the world, and proved the ideal opportunity for CIMON Inc., to showcase its industrial PC and OPC UA communication module for PLC and PLC-S, a standard communication protocol for IoT (Internet of Things).
While there were a number of Japanese participants, CIMON Inc., was the sole participant in the industrial automation field, showcasing the many advances in Korean technology. The company attracted widespread interest from industry media, with a large number of interview requests to discuss the smart factory solutions. This follows on from the company's recent expansion into the United States, with the opening of an office in Las Vegas.
In this software update, HTML 5 technology will be readily integrated into the UltimateAccess SCADA product, resulting in easier remote access. This provides an exciting ability to monitor and control systems such as factories, farms, buildings, and airports, from simple mobile or tablet devices anywhere in the world.
During the exhibition, CIMON Inc., demonstrated a positioning service connecting its OPC Unified Architecture (standard communication protocol for IoT compatibility) to the servo motor. This OPC UA communication module is the only module of its kind to be developed in Korea, and will be supplied to companies around the world to increase performance of factory systems.
Developed by manufacturers, users, and research agencies, to ensure the safe exchange of information between various systems, the technology will play a key role in the manufacturing industry and IoT.
The development of CIMON Inc.'s Industrial Panel Computer (IPC) to endure harsh environmental conditions typical of manufacturing sites, while providing high performance and system stability (by using Intel CPU and SSD) is also an exciting indication of the system's stability.
"We are constantly working to incorporate the latest technology afforded to us right now, and are delighted to have showcased our updates to AAT17 delegates" said Mr. An Che Bong, CEO and President of CIMON Inc.
"Our new SCADA updates mean that preventative maintenance, through collecting, comparing, and analyzing data, as well as alerting users of potential errors and damage, will occur completely on its own. The event was a hugely useful opportunity to show the industry just how smart their business can be with our services and products" he added.
Among the updates, a new user-friendly graphics tool and scheduler was also announced at the show. In addition, images and graphics will no longer need to be created in two separate environments for the PC and subsequent mobile devices. The system will now automatically perform the conversion for users.
