ImageFIRST Shares Story of Their Associate's Impact on a Patient

San Antonio, TX -- (SBWire) -- 01/02/2018 --ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists shared a story about an associate who went beyond his typical job duties in order to recover and return a young patient's stuffed animal.

While making a delivery at a Dallas medical center, one of the associates went above his ordinary duties.

A 4-year-old patient at a Cleburne, Texas surgery center chose to bring her kitten stuffed animal with her during the procedure. In the midst of being discharged, she left the toy behind in her hospital bed. After she left, the stuffed animal was accidentally tossed in a soiled linen bag along with the bed sheets.

Her mother called the facility, explaining that her daughter needed her favorite stuffed animal during recovery. The staff was unaware of the toy's location.

When Brock, an ImageFIRST Customer Advocate, came to service the facility the following week, the staff informed him of the missing stuffed animal. Brock took the initiative to look through the bags of soiled linen. He found the toy, and once he recovered it, he returned it to the young patient. He also gave her a Violet Cow stuffed animal to replace the kitten while her mother washed it.
