STL Ocarina's Heather Scott to Perform at Preview of the New Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3ds Game May 31 in Spain
Saluda, NC -- (SBWire) --06/01/2011 --Ocarina master and YouTube sensation Heather Scott will perform in Madrid May 31 at a press event designed to give fans and the media a sneak preview and demo of the new Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3Dame and music.
Heather, 25, is known around the world to Legend of Zelda fans through her YouTube channel, http://www.youtube.com/heathersocarina. At the Madrid event, she will perform music from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time along with a string quartet. She will also play an afternoon concert with the string quarter and teach a workshop demonstrating how to play Zelda songs on the ocarina.
Heather will also participate in demos of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS. The May 31 event is part of a partnership between Nintendo and STL Ocarina, the St. Louis company reviving worldwide interest in the ocarina.
Heather has almost 18,000 subscribers to her YouTube channel, with almost 300,000 channel views and more than 5.1 million total upload views to date. People around the world have become ocarina fans after hearing Heather play diverse music from video game and anime themes to classical, folk and pop tunes.
STL Ocarina and Nintendo are partnering for the Madrid event to give fans of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time a special pre-release view of the new 3DS game and its music. A screen shot of the game can be seen at the Nintendo Spain website, http://www.nintendo.es/zelda. Nintendo Spain is giving out 25 plastic ocarinas to the first 25 people coming to the workshop. They are also giving away 25 ocarinas to the press.
