In June 2011, prices of most glyphosate products remain depressed. Electricity prices in 15 provinces in China have been raised since June 1, 2011, causing the increasing costs of glyphosate and its raw materials and aggravating the dreadful glyphosate market. The shortage supply of electricity also leads to the high cost of yellow phosphorus in the wet season this year.
