It is during a private healthcare event held in his honour recently he was responding to a several questions by saying "First and Foremost, this is not simply just a case of Joseph Obi versus the Infallible Scientific Skeptic Cabals of Evidence Based Medicine. It is an Ethical Global Demand for Greater Professional Respect in relation to Art Based Medicine; which Science Based Medicine unfairly seems to be giving a Very (Very) Bad Name indeed."

In his opinion, the basic statutory definition of Orthodox Clinical Medicine does not consist of or involve any such thing as science based medicine. If Orthodox Clinical Medicine involves science based medicine, then every relevant scientist regardless of their qualifications, will legally have to obtain a Statutory Medical License before they start practicing the profession and issuing pharmaceutical prescriptions that may be fancicul, says Professor Joseph Obi.

He also adds that the National Medical Practitioners Regulatory Boards and Statutory Licensing Councils around the world have a tendency to regulate the General Art of Orthodox Clinical Medicine. He emphatically says that Orthodox Clinical Medicine is an art and not a science. In fact, medicine is never pure science. It is technically an advanced form of art.

Professor Joseph Chikelue Obi points out that 75% of Orthodox Clinical Medicine is not at all evidence based.

The term "medicine" has been originally derived from the Italian phrase Ars Medicina which means "Art of Healing" in English. Doctor Joseph Chikelue Obi assertively feels that Art Based Medicine should be treated on par with Science Based Medicine that is getting undue prominence.

Chikelue Obi is therefore sounding an alarm that a very huge chunk of Science Based Medicine is Fallacious, Dangerous and life-threatening.
