London, UK -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/22/2016 -- A whopping 73% of graduates have continued to hire as originally planned since Brexit occurred, bringing great news for graduates this year.
A number of the UK's largest student employers have been surveyed by The Association of Graduate Recruiters regarding how they have been affected by the EU referendum and their plans for this year and next year. Things are looking relatively positive for 2016 as a large number of recruiters have reported things have not changed whilst others (5%) stating that they will reduce their graduate intake by just 2% and 19% not knowing this early on.
For 2017 however 64% of the surveyed employers are uncertain what is going to happen, with many saying that it is too early to indicate the impact which will be caused. One in five when asked about 2017 said that recruitment level are going to be roughly the same next year, and some even plan to increase.
