The premium, three-row utility vehicle is now available with the innovative EcoBoost engine, Lincoln’s distinctive luxury, and options that make the MKT easier to personalize than ever before.

For the 2012 model year, Lincoln has replaced the 3.7-liter V6 all-wheel-drive model with an all-wheel-drive 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6. The EcoBoost, which outputs a class-leading 355 horsepower and350 lb.-ft. of torque, provides the power of a V8 engine with the fuel economy of the V6. The other engine choice available to consumers is the standard 3.7-liter V6.

Along with the new engine choice, the 2012 MKT continues Lincoln’s reputation for producing high quality, comfortable, and technologically sound vehicles. Buyers can choose between two different second-row seating options, making the utility vehicle either a six- or seven-passenger model. Rear passengers will also feel just as comfortable as those in the front, thanks to the heating, cooling, and power lumbar adjustments available for the second row. An optional five-quart refrigerator is available on the six-passenger model as well, making the vehicle even more luxurious.

Available technology on the MKT includes Lincoln SYNC® voice-activated communications and infotainment, SIRIUS® XM Radio, touch-screen operated climate and audio control, and panoramic sunroof. A dual headrest Family Entertainment System with DVD playback screens, voice activated navigation, and SIRIUS Travel LinkTM are also available as an option.
