Mumbai, Maharahtra -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/06/2011 -- The Mumbai Zone of the Brahma Kumaris today announced that its mega Platinum Jubilee Festival would be launched on December 17, 2011 at Somaiya Ground, Sion - Chunnabhatti, Mumbai. The 9-day Celebration revolving around the theme of ‘One God, One World, One Family’ will include the participation of Celebrities, Spiritual Leaders, Industrialists, Film Stars and other opinion makers, besides discourses, interactive sessions, stress and de-addiction counseling, Shivir, Raja Yoga courses, contests and other activities.
The nationwide celebrations were inaugurated by President Smt. Pratibha Patil at Gurgaon (near Delhi) on September 16, 2011. The Mumbai leg of festivities will begin with the opening ceremony on December 17th which will be graced and inaugurated by Rajyogini Dadi Ratan Mohiniji, Joint Chief of Brahma Kumaris. It will be followed by the Professionals Meeting on Dec 18 which would have participation of various reputed dignitaries from various walks of life. This will be followed by various interactive sessions by renowned Brahma Kumari Shivani-(Awakening with Brahma Kumaris Fame –‘Aastha’) on Dec 18th, 19th, & 20th, Session on Secrets of Holy Gita by Brahma Kumari Usha on Dec 21st, 22nd & 23rd, Haldi Kumkum & Culinary Art contest for women on Dec 23 and closing ceremony on 25th December.
