Previously, Chinavasion's over 150,000 active business buyers used their PayPal accounts or direct bank transfer to pay for their orders. With the new payment method launched, which is one of the first implementations of this new option from Paypal in the Asia Pacific region, customers can enjoy an easy and risk free shopping experience at Chinavasion without having to login to any Paypal account.
Says Chinavasion's Rose Li: "There are 608 million credit cards held by consumers in US in 2010 - that's almost 3 credit cards per person. People are used to choice so why shouldn't online shopping allow that, even when it's B2B sourcing direct from China!"
Online shoppers were also reassured that this direct credit card payment method is secure and confidential. “We spent many hours testing the new credit card payment method, focusing on stability and usability," Says Rose Li, "Ease of use and confidence are essential for a smooth online purchase, and we worked with Paypal to ensure that everything works easily without having to hand over your card details to any unknown party.”
Chinavasion noted it will not have access to any credit card information, as customer information is processed and stored on secure PayPal servers. The Chinavasion spokesperson took the opportunity to remind online shoppers they should install anti-virus software on their computers and only buy from genuine reputable online businesses.
The online shop at Chinavasion.com is now offering direct credit card payment for all countries that have PayPal operations, and all registered customers, not only Paypal users, can use this payment route without creating any Paypal account or login.
