Cardiff, Wales -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/31/2012 -- JNR Enterprise discusses the announcement that the Duchess of Cambridge is to become a volunteer in the Scout Association, working with youngsters near her home in north Wales. The Scout Association said she will be teaching boys - aged from six to 10 - a variety of skills including putting up tents and lighting fires. The managing director of JNR Enterprise is pleased to see that the Duchess of Cambridge is giving back to the youth saying, ‘basic life skills like this will always come in handy and I believe that if everyone followed the Duchess lead and just gave back a little of your time to your local community what a difference it will make.’

The duchess, a former Brownie, has also become patron of four charities. Across the UK, she has accepted honorary positions with Action on Addiction, East Anglia's Children's Hospices, the Art Room and the National Portrait Gallery. The Scout Association said her role with them would be as an active volunteer. A source from JNR Enterprise goes further to say, ‘here at JNR Enterprise we are not stranger to giving back as we have managed to raise £79,078.00 for the British Red Cross, this is an astronomical achievement and we are very proud of the work we do.’

The Duchess of Cambridge has caught the attention of adventurer, TV presenter and UK chief scout Bear Grylls said: "The duchess has an incredibly busy life, which makes it all the more inspiring that she has chosen to volunteer alongside us." He added: "I think what's lovely is that she's going to feel exactly the way that lots of young scouts feel when they first join, which is a little bit nervous...that's what scouting's about.

With so many demands and pressures that life come with, the public find it increasing difficult to find time in their busy schedules to volunteer. ‘With the Duchess of Cambridge finding time to give back through volunteering shows that we all have n excuse and if she can find time then so can we!’ continues the MD of JNR Enterprise.

St James's Palace said the choices reflected her interests in the arts, promotion of outdoor activity and supporting people in need of all ages, adding that the organisations "compliment the charitable work already undertaken by her husband". JNR Enterprise is a successful sales and marketing company that specialises in the charity sector and the managing director give some great advice saying, ‘when it comes to giving back helping out with a cause you feel passionate about is the first step as this will help maintain your interest and ensure you deliver great work.’
