Alila Jakarta supports the World Earth Hour, an initiative by the World Wild Fund for Nature (WWF), by switching off all lights inside and outside the hotel on Saturday, March 31st, 2012 from 8:30pm – 9:30pm.
Jakarta, Indonesia -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/29/2012 -- In recognition of the global campaign ‘Earth Hour’ which will be held on Saturday, March 31st, 2012 from 8:30pm – 9:30pm, Alila Jakarta will join millions of people around the world in switching off all lights inside and outside of the hotel, including the guest rooms of this Jakarta hotel, in an effort to save electricity and support our environment. This important campaign was initiated by the World Wild Fund for Nature (WWF) with the goal of creating greater awareness of global environmental issues.
In addition, we will request that all guests who stay at Alila Jakarta support Earth Hour by participating in this initiative. Alila Jakarta will ask all employees and their families to participate by turning off all lights in their homes.
