The Mountain Peak Academy is often able to accept funds that have been awarded to families from the McKay Scholarship.
Mountain Peak Academy administrators believe that within the proper learning environment, each student can progress and develop in the classroom while acquiring knowledge in important school subject areas. Class work is designed to promote student success, and children are encouraged to learn at their own pace and style. As students gain skills, they are monitored and encouraged to continue to move forward to more challenging material. True learning is emphasized over rote memorization. The programs goal is to build self-esteem among students with mild learning differences and work towards student independence.
