Dubai, UAE -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/19/2009 -- Eton Institute in partnership with Dubai Knowledge Village is offering a free one day workshop in Ramadan Etiquettes and Cultural Awareness during the holy month of Ramadan. The four hour free workshop is aimed at creating awareness about the Islamic culture and the essential etiquettes to be observed during the Muslim month of fasting.

This free workshop will aim to educate the participants about the essential etiquettes related to Ramadan and introduce the Arab culture to non-Arabs. As the holy month of fasting for Muslims dawns upon us, a fair bit of the expat population within the UAE is curious as to what is expected of them and what they can expect from the Muslim community. During Ramadan, Muslims all over the world are in a state of meditation as a time to cleanse the soul, transfer attention to God and practice self-sacrifice. It is much more than just not eating or drinking.

The free Ramadan etiquettes & cultural awareness workshop will be conducted on Saturday, 29 August from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Auditorium in Dubai Knowledge Village.
