Raleigh, North Carolina -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/14/2009 -- Viovio, a Raleigh, North Carolina based Online Photo Hosting and Photo Book printing service, announces it's 2009 Holiday Template Design Contest that will split $150 in Viovio gift cards between three winners to use online. Participants can enter the contest via the Viovio Contest Page, where they can share their template designs.

"The contest has participants creating sets of multiple PNG files called Template Albums, which customers can drag and drop their photos into using our Online Photo Book Designer," says contest organizer Samuel Swayze, "The only catch is that entrants must have full copyright ownership of their entries so that our customers can use them in their books. The plus side to this is that designers are able to add their own commission to their designs, so even if they don't win the gift cards, they can still make some money."

The festive contest sends participants to the Viovio contest page to submit their Holiday Template Albums (Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, etc.). Current contestants include entries from scrapbookers, moms, and designers. Participants follow these steps to enter the contest:

• Participants design and upload their Template Albums to Viovio.com by December 31st 2009.

• All entries will be shown on the contest page, which is also where Viovio users can vote on the entries. Voting will last through January 7th 2010.

• Viovio will determine the winner based soley on the top three submissions with the most community votes.

"We've certainly got the designers for this contest, and we always welcome more, but we really need more people voting and supporting the designs they enjoy," says Swayze.

The winners of Viovio's 2009 Holiday Template Design Contest will receive $150 in gift cards split among them, to be used on Viovio's online store.
